Terms of Sale and Use
1.Who we are
These terms are between you and AFTERS ("we", "us"), of [registered address]. You can reach us at hello@afters.app.
By starting a trial, subscribing, or using AFTERS, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree with them, please do not sign up.
2.What you are buying
A subscription to AFTERS, starting with a seven day free trial. You give card details when you sign up but nothing is charged during the trial.
At the end of the seven days your subscription starts automatically at $7 a month, or $59.99 a year if you chose the yearly plan, unless you cancel before then. It renews at that price each period until you cancel.
We will email you before the trial ends so the first charge is never a surprise.
3.Cancelling
You can cancel at any point during the seven day trial and you will not be charged. After that you can cancel any time and you keep access until the end of the period you have paid for.
Cancelling is a single link, sent to you by email the moment you sign up and available any time from your Stripe billing portal. If that link ever does not work, email hello@afters.app and we will cancel it for you the same day.
Cancelling will never be harder than signing up was. If you ever find that it is, that is a bug and we want to hear about it.
4.Payment
Payments are processed by Stripe. We never see, handle, or store your full card details.
Prices are in US dollars and exclude any sales tax or VAT that may apply where you live. Where it applies it is calculated and shown at checkout.
Your subscription renews automatically at the price you signed up at until you cancel. We email you before each renewal.
5.Refunds
Cancel during the seven day trial and there is nothing to refund, because nothing was charged.
If you are charged and AFTERS does not do anything for you, email hello@afters.app within 30 days of that charge and we will refund it in full. There is no form and no questions.
This is in addition to any statutory cancellation rights you have where you live. Consumers in the UK and EU generally have a 14 day right to cancel a distance contract.
Refunds are made to the original payment method and typically take 5 to 10 business days to appear.
6.Using the app
You must be at least 18 to subscribe to or use AFTERS.
Your subscription is for you personally. Please do not share your account, resell access, or try to break, copy, or reverse engineer the app.
We may update, change, or discontinue features over time. If we discontinue the product entirely, we will refund any unused portion of what you have paid.
7.Not medical care
AFTERS is a wellness product. It is not medical care, and it does not diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any physical or mental health condition.
The medical disclaimer page sets this out in full and it forms part of these terms.
8.Our liability
We provide AFTERS with reasonable care and skill, but we do not promise it will be uninterrupted or error free, or that it will produce any particular outcome for you.
Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited. Subject to that, our total liability to you is limited to the amount you have paid us in the twelve months before the claim.
We are not liable for any decision you make about your health, your work, or your life. Please see a professional for those.
9.Changes and governing law
We may update these terms. If a change materially affects you, we will email you before it takes effect. The version in force is the one published here on the day you buy.
These terms are governed by the law of [state or country], and the courts there have jurisdiction. If you are a consumer, this does not deprive you of the protection of the mandatory law of the country where you live.
